A little bit chaotic here this morning with some interesting plumbing adventures, but I have a bright, bold and sublime birthday card for you today over on the Seven Hills Crafts Blog featuring the cute Lawn Fawn You Are Sublime set.
Sublime Birthday Card Tutorial
Firstly, I started by inking up three A6 panels of card with Broken China, Salty Ocean/Peacock Feathers and Antique Linen/Vintage Photo with some Distress Oxide Inks. Next, I splattered some clean water drops onto each panel and left to dry. Once dry, I cut the darker blue panel with a Lawn Fawn Stitched Wave border and the sandy panel with a Stitched Hillside Border.
On some watercolour cardstock, I stamped out the images from the Lawn Fawn You Are Sublime set and coloured them in with my Zig Clean Colour Real Brush Markers, cutting them out with the coordinating dies. Of course, I had to have a yellow submarine!
To finish, I adhered the background panels to a card base and popped up the die cut images with some foam tape. I kept it super simple with the sentiment, white heat embossing a sentiment from the set on some black card stock.
A super sublime birthday card!
