Hello, crafters! It’s definitely the start of the festive season, so for my Seven Hills Crafts blog post today I have a Tree-mendous Christmas card for you featuring the Mama Elephant Tree Picking set.

Tree-mendous Christmas Card Tutorial
I kept it really simple, using just one stamp set, one ink pad and some alcohol markers. Firstly, I stamped out the car in some Lawn Fawn Jellyfish ink – this is really great for that no-line look. Next, I used a sticky note to mask off the car so I could stamp out some additional trees in the background to create the scene.

Then I started in on the colouring! I used my Copic markers and started with the background first – the ground and then the sky – to prevent bleeding. I used two different colours of greens to differentiate between the trees in the background and the one on top of the car. Next, I finished up with some finer details in coloured pencil. I struggled with the faces on this card – perhaps they look a little scary – but I think you can tell they’re bunnies!

Finally, I finished up with the perfect sentiment from the set!
