Hi, I’m Tallie! I’m the chief crafter here at Paper, Ink and Colour (previously talliescorner.co.uk). I’m based in the UK, work full time during the week and try and fit in the crafting time when I can!
This site is really a collection of my papercrafting and cardmaking exploits. I have always made my own Christmas cards, but since around the winter of 2017 when I stumbled across this video of Kristina Werner’s and I discovered all that is Lawn Fawn, I have been regularly posting tutorials for my cards. I am thankful to be on a couple of design teams for stamping companies and shops and you’ll find my weekly posts for inspiration on using some of the products.
I do not sell my cards online. I either give them away to friends and family (when I remember to actually send them off!) or I have a box on my desk at work where I ‘sell’ the cards and donate the proceeds to charity.
My style is usually more on the Clean and Simple (CAS) side of the design. I love bright, bold colours and any cute critters. My favourite colouring mediums are my Copic alcohol markers, my watercolour palette and all the Distress Inks, though I’ll occasionally step outside my comfort zone!
Design Team Work
I’m happy to consider any Design Team or guest posts as long as it fits in with my style. I am also open to product reviews, though it will be an honest review: I do not post about or recommend products I am not happy with. Please get in touch with me if you are interested.
The things I make and share have been purchased by myself, won through entering various crafting competitions or sent on for me to make projects with. Some affiliate links may be used in crafting supply lists, where possible, and are provided at no cost to you. I usually link to Seven Hills Crafts, my favourite UK-based crafting supplier, Simon Says Stamp based in the USA, or Amazon for more general products. All recommendations and links are provided because I have used and loved the product; I will not review or link something I don’t like. All opinions are my own, as are my mistakes.
