Hello, I’m back today on the Seven Hills Crafts blog with this summary camping critters scene, featuring the Avery Elle Camping Critters and Mama Elephant Scene Builder Stamp. I started out by stamping the scene elements using Lawn Fawn Jet Black Ink on some blending cardstock, starting with those in front (i.e. the fire) and ending with those in the…
Hello! I’m back on the Seven Hills Crafts blog today with another Christmas in July card. This card features the Sugar Pea Designs Gnome for Christmas stamp set and the Mama Elephant Scene Builder stamp set. This card, along with my card from a couple of weeks ago, ensures I am getting an early start to making Christmas cards so…
I’m filling in for Deborah today on the Seven Hills Crafts blog with a bright and fun birthday scene featuring the Mama Elephant Pinata Party and Mama Elephant Stackable Friends stamp sets. These sets are great for creating mini scenes, though I think the mole is cheating as he has his glasses on! He has to jump higher though, so…
Hello, I’m back today on the Seven Hills Crafts blog. With all the events going on in the world today, I’m bringing you some rainbows to brighten up your day. These cards feature the Avery Elle All About Us stamp set, are really simple to make and *shock horror for me!* they do not involve any colouring whatsoever! And as…
More often recently I am finding I am creating cards that move towards the CAS – clean and simple – style. Lots of white space, one layer and perhaps one central image. Sometimes, just adding a simple shaped background can frame your central image and create a focal point. Today, I used the Mama Elephant Fuzzy Hugs stamp set, two sentiment sets…
I say this every time Mama Elephant come out with one of these sets, but I love the new Penguin’s Waddle stamp set. They are so great for practicing your colouring and you have a scene card created without much effort. I’m sharing this festive themed card over on the Seven Hills Crafts blog today! I started out with the…
I’m on the Seven Hills Crafts blog today with this one layer winter scene featuring the Snow Friends stamp set from Mama Elephant’s latest release. I have really been into creating one layer scenes recently so I wanted to keep the design simple so the colouring would stand out. I started out by planning out my scene so I knew…
Hello, crafters! Today I’m featuring the Mama Elephant Wild Roar stamp set over on the Seven Hills Crafts blog. You all know I love these sets for practicing my alcohol marker colouring and, whilst they make take a while to finish, you have a feature piece to put straight on the centre of a card. It’s a good way to get…
Easter is just a bunny’s hop away (hehe) so my card today on the Seven Hills Crafts blog is full of bunnies! These Mama Elephant sets feature quite a bit in my card designs as they are perfect for practicing your colouring, and this Bunny’s Hop set is perfect for this time of year. I started out by stamping this…
My card today over on the Seven Hills Crafts blog is inspired by those fun-loving dragons from a rocky town called Berk! I love these cute little dragons from the Mama Elephant sets Me and My Dragon and Dragon Wishes. I stamped this family of dragons out with some MFT Extreme Black Ink onto some blending cardstock. I actually only…
Happy Wednesday! I’m sharing one last handmade Christmas card with you today. This is probably my most favourite of those I made this year so I saved the best until last! I’ve said this already when I posted my last card featuring this set, but these Mama Elephant Oh Kitty Tree stamps are purrrrfect for practicing my colouring!
Last week saw one last effort to create some clean and simple (CAS), quick but stunning homemade Christmas cards. I love the classic kraft look with traditional festive colours so all of these cards I posted over on the Seven Hills Crafts blog today follow the same simple design. I managed to create twenty cards following this same basic design. This one featuring the ‘Oh What Fun’ stamp set from Lawn Fawn is my favourite!
