I’m over on the Heffy Doodle blog today sharing another super birthday card! I absolutely love this Superdudes set from the new release as it has inspired so many card ideas, so be sure to get in quick with the orders as I know this one will sell out fast! Pre-orders are currently open until the new release goes live on Monday 11th.
I used three products from the new release:
I also used the Rescue Dogs mini set that comes free with all pre-orders.
I started out by stamping the flying hero and dog from the two stamp sets onto some blending cardstock. I coloured them in with my Copic markers, sticking to a Superman colour scheme, and cut them out with the coordinating dies. There are some interesting shadows you can play around on the cloak, depending on how confident you are with shadows.
On a separate white panel, I inked up the Zapp Attack stencil with some Candied Apple Distress Oxide ink. I adhered this directly to an A6 top-folding card base, leaving a small border above and below. A couple of Stitched Circle dies helped to give me a place to adhere my characters with some foam tape.
I die cut and stacked three of the Super Heffy Cuts, the top layer being coloured with some Squeezed Lemonade Distress Oxide Ink. I adhered this to the background panel along with two sentiment strips from the set cut with the Strips of Ease dies.
A few accent details with a gold gel pen and some Glossy Accents for the super die cut finishes this card off nicely. It definitely makes a good masculine card!
