I’m on the Seven Hills Crafts blog today and I have a grrrrrrrrreat peek-a-boo jungle birthday card for you, featuring the Avery Elle Peek-a-boo Jungle stamp set. I love the versatility of this series of stamps, though today I have gone bright and bold. Add in a matching punny sentiment and it’s perfect!
Peek-a-Boo Jungle Birthday Card Tutorial
I started out by stamping the furry critters, leaves and the banner onto some blending cardstock with some Lawn Fawn Jet Black ink. I chose some bright, bold yellows and orange alcohol markers to colour in the critters and cut them out with the coordinating dies. Don’t forget the paws!
For the background, I chose some constrasting purple colours in Distress Oxide inks. I blended these onto some white card and die cut it with the Avery Elle Star Scene Background die. These are perfect for creating simple but easy backgrounds for your cards! stamped the punny sentiment from the set onto the banner, using a little foam tape to adhere it onto the background scene.
Perrrrrrrrfect for any feline lover!
