I’m back on the Seven Hills Crafts blog today with this cute foxy masculine card featuring the Waffle Flower ‘Be Him’ stamp set. I love the mix and match pieces – the moustache, pipe, hat – so you can customise your card to the recipient! This one might just be a Father’s Day card in a couple of months.

Foxy Masculine Card Tutorial
Firstly, I started out by stamping the hare and the accessories from the Waffle Flower ‘Be Him’ stamp set onto some blending cardstock in Lawn Fawn Jet Black ink. Then I coloured them in with my Copic markers, chosing some reddy-browns and using at least three to four markers to ensure some good contrast. Finally, I cut these out with the coordinating dies.

The background is a little more complex that I usually go as I recently cleared out my craft stash and found some unused papers. Next, I used some scraps from the Lawn Fawn Water Colour Wishes Paper Pad, though these can easily be recreated with some simple watercolour washes. I used a little scrap of black and white striped cardstock to add an accent.
The final touch was to stamp out a sentiment strip from the Mama Elephant Birthday Wishes stamp set.

A really versatile design that was definitely a good start to using up my paper scraps!
